This session will demonstrate tools to identify impact metrics for journals (JIF, SJR, CiteScore), how to find where a journal is indexed for dissemination, and tools to evaluate the quality of journals, to identify the most appropriate journals to maximize your impact. This workshop will also cover ways to measure your research impact including through citation analysis, the H-index, and Altmetrics through a range of tools including Web of Science, Scopus & Google Scholar, Dimensions, and MyActivities.
"Your Future in Science" is a seminar series designed for graduate research assistants and postdoctoral research associates. Held the 3rd Thursday of every month from 12-1 pm in COMRB, YFIS covers topics about career exploration and different career options, professional skills needed for career success, and preparing for the job search.
