Course Description

This online training program will provide information about the new Effort Certification System (ERS) and the process for completing the Final AY 19 Effort Certification forms.

This course is targeted to Faculty who will be certifying effort reports either for themselves or for their employees.

The course will cover the following topics:

• Review of Effort Reporting, Institutional Base Salary and Cost Sharing
• Information about the new Effort Reporting System (ERS) process flow, including form distribution, certification, routing and role responsibilities (Principal Investigator or Individual Certifier, Business Manager)
• Instructions on how to complete the Effort Certification worksheet (Business Manager's responsibility) and the Effort Certification form (PI or individual’s responsibility).
