Course Description

This online training program will provide information about the new Effort Certification System (ERS) and the process for completing the Final AY 09 Effort Certification forms.

This course is targeted to Business Managers who will be completing Effort Reporting worksheets for their departments.

The course will cover the following topics:

• Review of Effort Reporting, Institutional Base Salary and Cost Sharing
  
• Information about the new Effort Reporting System (ERS) process flow, including form distribution, certification, routing and role responsibilities (Principal Investigator or Individual Certifier, Business Manager)
  
• Instructions on how to complete the Effort Certification worksheet (Business Manager's responsibility) and the Effort Certification form (PI or individual’s responsibility).
