Course Description

In this training module, investigators and research staff will be provided with information regarding what types of events need to be promptly reported to OPRS/IRB, a description of the process OPRS/IRB utilizes to evaluate a prompt report, and information regarding potential outcomes and obligations of reports.

 

Course Completion

To successfully complete this training module, you must:

  • read and review all of the course material,
  • and receive a passing score of 80% based on the Quiz located in the Prompt Reporting Process Folder.
  • You must visit every page in the course to receive your certificate. For this reason, we suggest you visit the pages in the order listed. (The Back & Next buttons do not work in this course.)

You will have the opportunity to repeat the training until you receive a passing score on Quiz. Incorrect answers will be noted for your review. To re-take the Quiz, click on the Quiz in the Prompt Reporting Processfolder and the Quiz will be reloaded.

You should receive your certificate of completion by email from continuingEd@uic.edu shortly after completing the course. It is recommended that you print your certificate for your records.
